Event Details

This 30 minute drop in storytime is designed for preschool and school age children 3 years of age and older. Children are encouraged to either attend without their grown-up or sit independently on the floor while their grown-up enjoys a chair. Attendance is drop-in, first come, first served. Younger siblings can attend on their grown-up's lap.

Lunar New Year Story Time is very interactive and structured. We start promptly at 12:00p.m. Join us in celebrating and learning about Lunar New Year. We plan to read two to three picture books and talk, sing, and move. We end with a holiday craft.

Registration is not required for most story times.
We meet nearly every week year-round.

We cancel children’s events whenever Mason City Schools close due to Severe Weather. Delays do not count as closings.
